Anita Steinmann is the Founder and CEO of CritMitS.

A former expat for nearly a decade, she gained first hand appreciation about the toll and agony related to expatriating and repatriating.

Raised mainly in Switzerland and speaking the language fluently, it still took her some painful three years to get accustomed again to the Swiss style of living and business.

Consequently, she easily can identify and reconcile differences which are system-inherent and can perfectly relate to its ambiguity as one eliminable stressor.

Rooted in her family tree, her upbringing, and her inquisitive mind, Anita possesses a comprehensive appreciation for diversity. She can easily adapt to the varied priorities of customers with diverse cultural or geographical situations.

In addition to her life experience, she offers over two decades of international business experience in the field of Corporate Governance, specifically in Risk Management, Compliance, Audit, Forensics, and Investigations. She spent nearly a decade at various location in the United States where she learned about the distinct local business principles.

In distinct roles, she has worked on proactive and reactive risk management and mitigation engagements, serving stakeholder of some of the globally largest listed organizations.

Anita is Certified Risk Manager for Banking and Finance, University Zurich and trained as a CPA, Certified Public Accountant. Formally educated Switzerland and the United States, she holds an MBA with an emphasis on Management from Northern Arizona University, Arizona. Further, she graduated from HWZ Hochschule für Wirtschaft & Verwaltung, Zurich as a Betriebsökonom HWV.
